INESC-ID, "Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores: Investigação e Desenvolvimento em Lisboa", is a leading, private, non-profit Portuguese research institute dedicated to advancing Research, Development and Innovation (R&D+i) in Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering (CS+ECE).

Founded in 1999 and granted Public Interest status, INESC-ID has been an Associate Laboratory of the Portuguese Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education since 2004. It is jointly owned by Instituto Superior Técnico and INESC.

Unidade Local de Saúde Santa Maria

The Unidade Local de Saúde de Santa Maria, created on January 1, 2024, results from the merger of the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Norte – Hospitais de Santa Maria and Pulido Valente – and more than two dozen functional units of primary health care from the Agrupamento de Centros de Saúde Lisboa Norte and the Centro de Saúde de Mafra, providing direct care to around 345,000 users in its area of influence and integrating more than seven thousand professionals.

The Unidade Local de Saúde de Santa Maria is committed to integrating care, training the next generation of health professionals, and leading research for the future of medicine, while ensuring the integrated provision of health care at its different levels, in a continuous, equitable, humanized, efficient, high-quality, and safe manner.
